Hi guys! I just want to say that I am VERY TRULY SORRY for the long
hiatus. Long story short, life have gotten to me, and I am just on the
verge of figuring out things in my life at the moment. I don't know for sure if I will be subbing again any time soon.
I will not be subbing Por Krua Hua Pa anymore. I am truly sorry about that. I just don't have much time for it. So I am truly sorry for that.
It's been about almost a year now, and the process has been slow for me and BZZ. Recently, I heard there has been lots of requests for new videos of Nakee. This is why Subber's Paradise has picked it up! For the time being, please go to Subber's Paradise's website to see episode 6 and onward.
In 2017, for whatever odd reasons, Ch.3 has decided to upload a new version on youtube as well where they split up Nakee into 17 episodes from the original 11 episodes that was aired. That's just the side note. I have no idea why they do that honestly.

Why is there no new videos of Nakee?
First off, I would like to say that I am sorry that the progress of Nakee is not going as a pace I would thought, but I understand and respect the translator, BZZ, to continue whenever he/she feels like and have time to spare. This is also the response to those who kept messaging and leaving comments on Kitkat's facebook page of when will there be new videos of Nakee as well. Please understand their situation that it's not their fault or anything. If anything, you guys should be thankful for the HD videos they always do for everyone, and take their time to upload. I am thankful for them because they are one of the most active members who is still contributing to Thai entertainment medias.
I hope you guys can understand what the subber's life is like. If you have NEVER done it before, then you don't know how time consuming it is. It is literally part of your daily life. Translation can take up for more than like 1-2+ hours just to finish an episode. This depends on how fluent the subber is and how much time they have to spare as well. For a Thai lakorn episode part of about 10 minutes long, it might take you about 15-30+ mins long. Once you finished a translating, now what? Then you will have to time the translation as well. How long does it take me to time a 10-15 minute video? Probably about 30-40 minutes long. For a full episode, that'll be 1-2 hours long for sure. Then what? Now you have to encode the video. How does that take for one episode? 30mins.-1 hour long depending how fast your computer can handle the progression of the program AND the HD video file. Now you have to upload the video, and that might take 30 minutes to 1 hours depending on your internet connection. Now calculate it within a range of one day... that's literally like almost 3-4 hours of your life already per day. If the subber is doing multiple projects, the hours of subbing doubles! Imagine if you are that person who's doing the work... how can you still continue to do so? Well I'll bring you to my second part.
Secondly, I hope you watch it/download it from the people who have done the work because we know how many people are watching what we are subbing, so that means it'll give us the satisfaction and motivation to continue subbing. You guys enjoy, we get the view counts going up, then we can share happiness together. This is why we all come here because we are obsessed with Thai Lakorns! :) This goes for every person who subs.

He/She has 2 other shows he/she did too, but if you guys can see, the subbing progress on his/her other shows are in slow progress as well.
Before picking up Nakee, BZZ and I have both agreed that I will not be subbing from the Chinese translation because mainly sometimes things will become "lost in translation." It'll make sense in another language, but it will not make sense in English. I know because I sometime compared BZZ's translation to the Chinese translation, and some lines turned out differently. Since BZZ did this project first, and still decided to continue the project, I will stick to his/her decision. I respect it fully.
Since I started the Nakee project, it was mainly to learn more Chinese vocabularies. Now, I am continuing my purpose again. I have picked up a project to work on. That is Por Krua Hua Pa. Catattack have decided she will work on Sarb Dok Soi on her own, so Por Krua Hua Pa will be on my own. I already have another project in mind afterward, but it's still a maybe for now depending on the progression of the Chinese translation. Until BZZ gets back and start subbing, that is when the translation would take on a go. I hope you all can understand and thank you for reading. :)

New Lakorn Projects Announcement
There will be two projects I will be working with Catattack, and Kitkat. :) This lakorn will be subbed from the Chinese subs. This one will be sub by me personally (like I will be the translator). I know I am not at a proficient level yet, I will try my best to provide the best translation possible. I just want to say ahead that I am sorry if I make any mistakes on the translation. If anybody wants to help, feel free to contact me, and let me know below on this post. Please leave me your email for sure. Chinese and Thai translators are always helpful. :)

Two new mini projects
Aside from Nakee, there is actually two Thai movies I will be subbing. This will be a secret upon my personal release! Stay tune! Well these Thai movies are out for awhile already, but there are no English subs for them, so I'll be creating them. Both of them will be translated from Chinese subs as usual, so I am sorry if I make some errors. :)

Thinking of a side project besides Nakee
Hi there y'all. As you all know, the progress for Nakee is happening as it is, and we are sort of halfway for the show already.
For the time being, I was thinking of asking people who wants to work on other lakorn as well. As you all know, I don't know any Thai language, however I can be a timer/encoder/uploader of course. There are some lakorn that I think are worth working on if anyone is interested. This post is to announce to volunteers who wants to work on these lakorn aside from the usual genre people often see. I think it's great to sub lakorns that aren't the usual genre that people often watch such as Nakee. Nakee is not a typical story, or a type of genre people would often sub, which is why I love it. Well, these are the ones I think are good to sub. Well, if anyone wants me to work on a project with them, let me know, and I will likely to consider it as well.

I think I might pick up Plerng Pra Nang for now. A chinese fansub team recently started subbing this lakorn and they finished episode 1 so far, but I think there's already 7, or 8 episodes out already. For now, it's just my consideration for the moment and I don't really plan to start on it until I see the chinese fansubber continue to sub more episodes of this lakorn. I don't want to start on it, and later they might not even finish subbing it. As for the other two lakorns, I would pick them up if they were translated into Chinese, but no chinese fansubber picked up those other two lakorns unfortunately. So then, I will go back to my purpose of learning more Chinese as I sub these lakorn... which is why I started Nakee in the first place. 5 New Lakorn I Want To Watch This Year 2017
Usually, I often don't see these type (these certain genres or stories) of lakorns being subbed because most tend to go towards the general romance genre. I can understand, but it would be great to see these subbed in the future because they are truly a great story. There's one lakorn which I haven't seen before, but I would like to see it.
1. Sarb Dok Soi / สาปดอกสร้อย / 风车花的诅咒 / Curse of Windmill Flower (2017)
(I think it's referring to the main character's name Dok Soi. I haven't seen this one before, not sure if it's a remake.)
I'm quite a horror fan, so I'm also one of those who likes to watch lots of Thai horror movies. For some reason, I feel that Thailand always tend to make the best horror movies with good plot lines. Most of the horror lakorn are quite good to watch too. I read the storyline at Sharerice that it was about a young girl who was possessed by a ghost who kills humans. The main girl falls in love with the policeman (main guy), but conflicts occurs when the spirit that resides in her body killed his father. This lakorn is already airing.
Needless to say, I am up to sub this lakorn if anyone picks up this lakorn. I'll volunteer to help out for sure! :) - (This doesn't mean that I'm going to sub this lakorn, but if anyone is translating it, I will help them out for sure. Let me know who is subbing and I'll volunteer.)
2. Wang Nang Hong / วังนางโหง / 王夫人的鬼魂
This is another horror lakorn. Yes. I love my horror movies. :)
(The storyline can be inaccurate.)
I read that this one was about the main guy and his family's curse. In the main guy's past life, he and the ghost were both lovers, but the ghost thought he killed her. She was a dancer in the past.
A doctor (main girl) comes into their home to find out the main guy's younger sister's sickness. The longer she comes into their haunted mansion, she also comes to learn what the family's curse was about. The curse is that they would have to sacrifice a girl to the ghost.
Either way it looks like a good story I want to watch. :)
3. Rachinee Morlum / ราชินีหมอลำ / 摩罗歌后/ Queen of Morlum (Remake 2017)
I've seen this lakorn when I was younger in a dub version. This new version already started airing. I was scanning through it, but it tends to go a in a faster pace and a bit different than the old version.
This lakorn was about the main girl and her parents who were very poor whom lived in the countryside of Thailand. They were always being threaten by debt collector gangs. One day the gang collector was beating up the father so much in the head that he eventually went blind. The mother made a decision to go to Bangkok in search for a better job to help make more money, and left the family with a friend who was willing to help her very much.
The young girl later went to Bangkok in search of her mom a couple years later when she was all grown up, but she have forgotten how her mother looks like. The mother don't know how her daughters look like either. Throughout all those years the mom was away, she became a famous Morlum singer. "Morlum" is a style of Thai country music. Unable to find her mother, she had the opportunity to become a famous Morlum singer to help find her mother with the help of the main guy, who she later end up with.
4. Mae Ai Sae Eun / แม่อายสะอื้น / 迟来的忏悔 / Belated Repentance (Remake 2017)
I've seen the old version back when I was younger in a dub version too. This lakorn is quite sad, and a story that I often don't see, which is why I liked it very much. It was truly a great and sad lakorn. It's been a long time, so I don't remember how the story actually went, but it went something like this.
It was about the main girl who was an innocent person good at sword dancing, and always made her father very proud at that. She often perform sword dancing for the general. One day she decided to go Bangkok with a person she knows to make more money. Her father was going blind, and so she need to make money.
When she went to Bangkok, she arrived in a hotel with that friend (I think it was her friend), not knowing that it was a brothel. Her friend tricked and drugged her to be a prostitute. She tried to forget about after that night, but was convinced to stay to get more money for her father's eye treatment.
One night, she saw the main guy at the brothel she's working at drunked, and she always liked him. They saw each other a couple times throughout the lakorn, and she knew him well, but he didn't know her much. They slept together. As the story goes on, she eventually had his baby, and became a famous model in Thailand. Then both of them started dating, and then there were people that hated her, and tried to expose of her past of being a prostitute. Her younger sister also tried to convince the main girl to tell everything as well.
This show was truly a great lakorn, and very different than the usual lakorn I usually see. I guess this lakorn was a top hit, and now they are remaking it. I'm so glad. :)
5. Buang Bajanthorn / บ่วงบรรจถรณ์/ 魔法床 / Enchanted Bed (Remake 2017)
I've seen this lakorn when I was young too. I watched it both in dub, and someone made english subtitles for this show too.
Unlike other lakorn I've seen, this fantasy fiction lakorn takes place in a historically-based setting. After the main girl's father passed away, he left her his home. Inside the home, there was an bed that was kept away, and not being used because of past situations. The main girl took and used the old bed, but she started dreaming as she was in this place... in Myammar.
Throughout the lakorn, she founds out that the bed was enchanted and lets her travel to the past. In the past is where she meets the guy she loves, while in reality, her ex tries to get back with her. He thought she was crazy for sleeping all the time, and tries to stop her to keep sleeping on the bed.
It's a really good story. I love it a lot, and I'm so glad they are finally remaking it. :)
